Only hours away by car from Boston, Buffalo, Baltimore, New York City, Richmond, Washington DC, and other major metropolitan areas of the East Coast, Pennsylvania offers hundreds of square miles of recreational areas, state forests and just all-around vacation fun opportunities.

Susquehanna County is in northeastern PA, an area of mountains and rivers that we call the "Endless Mountains".

Shore Forest Campground is only minutes north of Scranton, PA, just 6 miles from Interstate 81 or 1/2 mile from US Route 11. * Only ˝ mile off of RT11. At the town of Hop Bottom, 50 yards north of blinking light, go up the hill (east) on Forest Street. We’re at the crest of the hill on the left.

From the South:I-81 Exit 211 (Lenox) Take a left off the exit onto RT106. Go through the blinking light, and continue for approximately 1.5 miles. Make a Left onto Loomis Lake Rd (watch for our signs). Follow 4 miles to stop sign. Make a Right onto Forest St, we‘re just down the road on the right.

From the North:Recommend using Exit 223 (New Milford ). Make a left off the exit toward RT11. Take RT11 South (left) for 13 miles. Before the blinking light in Hop Bottom, make a left on Forest St. Follow directions above.
